Dining for Dollars is a fundraising program where BB’s Tex-Orleans donates 20% of eligible sales from an approved event day back to your organization. It’s an easy way to raise funds while supporters enjoy great food together.

This program is ideal for schools, PTAs, booster clubs, and nonprofit organizations looking for a simple, restaurant-based fundraiser with a guaranteed percentage back.

How Dining for Dollars Works

Once your request is approved, BB’s provides a custom promotional flyer to help spread the word. On the day of your event, supporters dine with us or place qualifying orders and mention your organization when ordering so sales can be properly tracked.

Eligible sales include:

  • Dine-in
  • To-geaux (pickup)
  • Catering

Orders placed through third-party delivery services do not qualify.

Dining for Dollars FAQs

Dining for Dollars is a fundraising program where BB’s Tex-Orleans donates 20% of eligible sales from your approved event day back to your organization. Supporters simply dine in or place a qualifying to-geaux or catering order during the event and mention your organization when ordering.

To be eligible, your organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with at least 50 members. All requests must be submitted in advance and approved before an event is scheduled.

Dining for Dollars requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your desired event date. Events are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability may be limited.

Events may be scheduled on most days, depending on availability. However, Dining for Dollars events cannot be held on major holidays, school holidays, Cinco de Mayo, or during special promotional days.

Eligible sales include dine-in, to-geaux (pickup), and catering orders placed during the approved event timeframe. The following do not qualify toward donations:

  • Third-party delivery services (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)

  • Gift card purchases

  • Sales made outside the approved event day

Once approved, BB’s provides a custom promotional flyer for your organization to share. Promotion should be done through your own channels such as email, social media, and direct outreach.

Flyer distribution is not permitted inside the restaurant, in the parking lot, or on nearby premises before or during the event. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in event cancellation.

Guests must mention your organization by name when ordering for their purchase to be counted toward the fundraiser. This helps ensure all eligible sales are properly tracked.

After the event, a sales summary is emailed to your organization within 3–5 business days. Donation checks are typically mailed about one week after the event. Please allow 7–10 business days before contacting us regarding payment.

Organizations may participate in Dining for Dollars once per month, subject to approval and availability.
