BB’s Tex-Orleans Expands to Beaumont, Earning Statewide Media Coverage
BB’s Tex-Orleans is continuing its Texas expansion with a new location planned for Beaumont, a move that has drawn coverage from leading state and regional publications including the Houston Chronicle and CultureMap Houston.
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, founder and CEO Brooks Bassler shared that the decision to enter East Texas was rooted in cultural alignment as much as opportunity.
“It’s our people at the end of the day,” Bassler said. “There’s no explaining our cuisine out there. They get it. They know it. They crave it.”
The new BB’s Tex-Orleans will span approximately 8,200 square feet, including a 3,200-square-foot indoor dining room seating 70 guests and a large outdoor patio with seating for up to 175. The patio will include a covered section, a dedicated children’s play area, and a 225-inch outdoor screen designed for game-day gatherings.
As noted in CultureMap’s coverage, the menu will feature the same Cajun and Gulf Coast–inspired offerings that have made BB’s Tex-Orleans a crawfish destination across Texas, including build-your-own seafood boils, seasonal crawfish, gumbo, fried seafood, wings, and signature po’boys. The Beaumont location will also include a full cocktail program and interior bar seating.
The restaurant is expected to open in early April 2026 and will become the brand’s 12th location. While future markets are always under evaluation, Bassler noted that the company’s immediate focus is on establishing strong roots in the Beaumont and greater East Texas community.
